Mnemonic Values

Last updated: August 11, 2020

Mnemonic values are used when constructing and creating parametric frames using Parametric Frame Builder, Stair Maker, and Truss Builder. A mnemonic value is an arithmetic function used as a substitute for a real number. For example, a dimension (or distance) for frame width can be defined as W1/3, where width is divided by three. The advantage of using mnemonic values is to enable a parametric frame to maintain its proportions regardless of modifications and adjustments in frame size.
